I don’t know about you, but stress, negativity, and emotional challenges can weigh us down daily. However, if we take the time to consciously raise our energy and frequency, we can transform and transmute our experiences to embody a more positive, vibrant life. Higher frequencies align with feelings of love, joy, peace, and overall well-being. Today, we’ll explore practical ways to lift your energy and frequency, enabling you to live a life in ease, flow and gratitude.

Understanding Your Energetic Frequency

Did you know that everything in the universe is made up of energy? Vibrating at different frequencies. Our thoughts, our emotions, and our physical state all have specific vibrations. Lower frequencies can lead to negative states such as fear, anger, and sadness, while higher frequencies fill us with positive feelings like love, gratitude, and happiness. When we raise our frequency, we have the opportunity for more positive experiences, improving our overall well-being.

The Power of Mindset

Your mindset is soooo important when it comes to your energetic frequency. Negative thoughts and self-talk can lower your vibration, while positive thinking and self-affirmation can lift it. If you would like to improve your mindset positively, try the following:

  1. Gratitude: Start each day by listing three things you’re grateful for. Gratitude shifts your focus & can start to re-wire the neural pathways from what’s lacking to what you have, raising your frequency.
  2. Positive Affirmations: Use affirmations to reinforce positive beliefs about yourself. Repeat phrases like “I am worthy,” “I am loved,” and “I am capable” to boost your self-esteem and energy.
  3. Visualisation: Spend a few minutes each day visualizing your goals and dreams. Imagine your life when you achieve these dreams, feeling the emotions associated with success. Visualisation helps align your energy with your aspirations.

Mindful Breathing and Meditation

I can’t express enough how important mindful breathing and meditation are. Shifting your focus from your head and thoughts and dropping into your body. Deep, mindful breathing calms the nervous system and helps release negative energy. Try this:

  • Deep Breathing Exercise: Sit or lie down comfortably. Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely – expanding your belly. Hold for a few seconds, then exhale slowly through your mouth. Repeat for several minutes, focusing on the rhythm of your breath.

I find practicing my deep breathing comes easily when I am having my morning cuppa (cup of tea) or if I am doing the dishes.

Meditation goes hand in hand with breathing. It helps quiet the mind and connect with your inner self. Even a few minutes of daily meditation can significantly raise your frequency. Here’s a basic meditation practice:

  • Basic Meditation: Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Sit comfortably with your back straight. Close your eyes and focus on your breath. When you are trying this for the first time, you might find your mind wanders (honestly, each time I start meditating, my mind always wanders), gently bring it back to your breath. Start with five minutes and gradually increase the duration.

I really find it hard to meditate in silence, so I find either a guided meditation Insight Timer (meditation app) or I play Solfeggio music on Spotify (or YouTube)

Physical Activity and Movement

Physical activity is essential for maintaining high energy levels. Exercise releases endorphins, the body’s natural mood lifters. It also helps release and/or move stagnant energy and improve circulation. Find an activity you enjoy, whether it’s walking, dancing, yoga, or swimming, and incorporate it into your routine.

Nourishing Your Body

The food you consume has a direct impact on your energy frequency. Eating a balanced diet rich in whole, unprocessed foods can boost your energy levels. Here are some tips:

  1. Eat Vibrant Foods: Fresh fruits and vegetables are high-vibrational foods. Incorporate a variety of colorful produce into your diet.
  2. Stay Hydrated: Water is vital for maintaining high energy levels. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to stay hydrated.
  3. Limit Processed Foods: Processed foods can lower your vibration. Opt for natural, whole foods whenever possible.

Emotional and Energetic Hygiene

Maintaining emotional and energetic hygiene is crucial for high vibrations. Negative emotions and energy from others can impact your frequency. Here are some practices to help:

  1. Release Negative Emotions: Try not to hold onto negative emotions. Being aware and able to acknowledge them, process them, and let them go. Journaling, talking to a friend, or seeking professional support, can help in releasing negative emotions. It can sometimes be hard, so be gentle with yourself and you feel into and explore these emotions.
  2. Protect Your Energy: Be mindful of your environment and the people you interact with. Surround yourself with positive, supportive people. If you’re in a negative situation, visualise a protective white light around you to support your energy.
  3. Practice Forgiveness: Holding onto grudges and resentment lowers your vibration. Practice forgiveness to release these heavy emotions and lighten your energy. This can be a heavy thing to do. I urge you to find the support you need to help this practice.

Connection with Nature

Nature is a powerful healer and energy booster. Spending time outdoors can significantly raise your frequency. Here are some ways to connect with nature:

  1. Walk Barefoot: Walking barefoot on grass, sand, or soil (known as grounding or earthing) helps you absorb the Earth’s natural energy. My favourite all time earthing, is walking on sand 🙂
  2. Spend Time in Green Spaces: Visit parks, forests, or gardens. The fresh air and natural surroundings can rejuvenate your energy.
  3. Observe and Appreciate: Take a moment to observe the beauty of nature. Listen to the birds, watch the sunset, or simply enjoy the rustling of leaves.

Creative Expression

Exploring creative activities can raise your frequency by allowing you to express yourself and tune into your inner joy. Whether it’s painting, writing, playing music, or crafting, find a creative outlet that resonates with you and make time for it regularly. Lately I have felt the pull to return to Mosaic art. I get lost in this space. Clearing my mind. Allowing energy to flow.

By adopting a positive mindset, practicing mindful breathing and meditation, engaging in physical activity, nourishing your body, maintaining emotional and energetic hygiene, connecting with nature, and expressing your creativity, you can raise your vibrations and transform your life. Remember, small, consistent steps lead to profound changes. Embrace these practices and watch as your energy soars and your life blossoms with positivity and joy.
